Music, was my first passion as far back as I can remember. Never would I have imagined being chosen to lead God's people into Praise & Worship. If you asked me what I'd be doing ten years ago, this was not the plan. I came to know Christ, in my mid - late 40's...That was definitely not part of my plan. He chose me. In return, I have dedicated my life, and I hope to be able to represent God because of what He's done for me. May He continue to guide my every decision. Songs come from Him and Him alone.
I have written many, but I don't plan on recording again, any time soon, unless of course, God makes it happen. The two songs I did record, "All For The Love Of Me" and "You Are", were to honor my dad's last request, prior to his passing, which was on my 49th birthday in 2015...
God writes through me, in my pain, my insecurities, and He somehow turns it all around. Reading His Word daily has also inspired many of the newer writings. I incorporate these songs as part of the Praise & Worship set, I do at Cross Community Church, and also at the local Outreach Center, bringing hope and encouragement.
When we lift our voice to our Heavenly Father, it brings a sense of peace. But the power and peace are not in the songs that we sing, but in the song Giver, the One Who gives life, Christ Jesus, my Lord & Savior.
Loving God, with every ounce of our being, loving people, and planting seeds, is what we are called to do. I will continue for as long as He allows.
I'm also privileged to serve as one of the Worship Leaders at Cross Community Church in Deerfield Beach Florida, www.thecrosscc.org. And I am thankful, always, for the honor of being able to use my gift to lead His people. Life is a journey. The Sanctification is final, when He calls us home.
